It’s late Saturday afternoon, and I just caught myself yelling at the TV. Watching college football. Notre Dame football. (Sorry, Missy.) The quarterback is hanging onto the ball after the snap. Holding on too long. All I can see is the QB shuffling in the pocket, and I’m yelling, “Get rid of it!” Then I realize, it’s easy for me to yell at the QB to get rid of the ball when I can’t see what’s down field. I can’t see if he has an open man or not. Isn’t that kind of like us to yell at God, our QB, to get rid of our current circumstances? But He can see down field. He knows what’s up ahead. We gotta trust our QB! He’ll take us to the Championship!
